Domain name
A domain name such as yourcompany.co.uk or .com is purchased on a lease only basis from the domain registrar and the price of this depends entirely on the domain name chosen. The price of the domain is in no way controlled by jonmsm enterprises ltd and thus no guarantee on the price of your chosen domain name can be made. The price of any domain name registration is NOT included in the initial website design cost and is an additional cost as stated in the price list.

Hosting
The files for your website, for example index.html or mycompanylogo.jpg are stored online where they form the website when someone types in your domain name. This storage space online is leased from a web host. The cost of this lease depends on the size of the website and amount of traffic the site will receive. The price of this is not controlled in any way by jonmsm enterprises ltd and thus no guarantee on the price can be made by jonmsm enterprises ltd, thus the cost of hosting is NOT included in the initial web design cost and is an additional cost as stated in the price list.

Basic Design Package
The basic design package consists of a website build in html programming code and is a dynamic site using CCS (cascading style sheets). The initial package consists of 3 or 5 visible web pages (depending on the package) which includes the home page (index.html). Jonmsm enterprises ltd will code the site but the customer must provide images and text to appear on the site. The text may be in hand written or electronic format however pictures must be in electronic format. The content provided by the customer and published on the website is therefore entirely the responsibility of the customer. There is a 10 image recommended maximum with a fixed 30 image maximum for the entire site over the 3 pages. All sites require a customer sign-off before being published to the internet at the domain name chosen. Any amendments or alterations to the sites text, layout, colour scheme or images after customer sign-off will be billed as maintenance at a fixed £30 for minor changes up to 3 hour labour and £20 per hour labour thereafter. Jonmsm enterprises reserves the right to withhold updates from a website and further to remove websites from the internet for non payment of invoices and fees.

Extra Pages
If you require a web site larger than 3 or 5 pages then we offer extra pages together with the basic website design at £50 per page. Extra pages can also be purchased after initial design sign-off and website completion as an expansion pack at £75 per page to cover the cost of re-integration of extra pages into the current website layout. Each extra page is limited to a further 10 images or a total site maximum of 10 per page (e.g. a 6 page website can have a maximum of 6x10 images = 60 images). Please be aware, the addition of a large number of pages or large numbers of high resolution images may incur an increased cost for hosting. This cost is out of the control of jonmsm enterprises and is fixed by the hosting company of choice. Customers will be consulted before any alterations are made that may affect the hosting cost.

Website design code
All code is produced from scratch by jonmsm enterprises ltd and remains intellectual property of jonmsm enterprises ltd unless agreed otherwise. If you wish to terminate your website contract with jonmsm enterprises ltd, we reserve the right to withhold all website code. If you wish to migrate a website designed by jonmsm enterprises ltd to a different web design company, the code can be purchased from jonmsm enterprises ltd at £50 per page not including the style sheet which can be purchased at the same cost as the individual pages.. Images and text remain property of the customer.

Site Maintenance
After initial sign off of the web site and publishing to the internet, any changes to content, text, images, colour schemes or layout of a site must be made as a maintenance update. Maintenance and updates can be purchased as one off events, monthly or as a yearly subscription.

• One off updates
  One off updates can be purchased at a cost of £30 per update. This purchase covers up to 3hr of labour on minor updates and does not cover significant redesign to the overall website. Any updates that require more than 3 hours of labour will be billed at £20per hour. All updates will be assessed and quoted before work commences to avoid unexpected labour costs for time-consuming changes.
• Monthly
  If you know that you will want to make regular changes to a site each month then you can sign up to a monthly subscription for updates at £25 a month. This covers 1 update a month up to 3 hours of labour. Further updates can be purchased on top of the monthly package at a discount from the one off updates tariff, at £15per hour.
• 10 for 12 maintenance
  jonmsm enterprises ltd also offers a discount for buying a 12 month maintenance package upfront. If you purchase the full 12 month package upfront you will only pay for the first 10 months at £250 instead of £300 when paying monthly, saving you £50 year in updates. Further updates can be purchased on top of the monthly allowance at a discount from the one off updates tariff, at £15per hour. Any cancellation of this contract must be done in accordance to the jonmsm enterprises ltd cancellation of contract and refund conditions stated below. The 2 free months are redeemed on the last two months of the 12-month contract and no refund can be offered on the 2 free months if the contract is terminated early. Cancellation fees may apply.

SEO
SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is a process where by jonmsm enterprises ltd can help your site to appear higher up in search engine listing for certain key words and phrases. There are a number of different levels of SEO that start from getting your site registered with popular search engines such as google™ to pushing your site and business high in the listings. This is time consuming and sometimes hit and miss work and does not hold any guarantees from search engines and thus jonmsm enterprises cannot guarantee exact positions on search pages as the results vary heavily on local competition in your market.

• Level 1
  Level 1 SEO is included with the basic web design package but can be purchased if your site has been transferred to us and designed else where at a cost of £30. The purchase of this service product covers the registration of your website with a number of major search engines such as google™ for priority indexing and cataloguing by the search engine crawler program. This starts your vital web presence.
• Level 2
  Level 2 SEO covers the addition and optimisation of a selection of meta tags for your site. Meta tags are code that allows you website to be picked up more readily under certain key words and phrases and provide a pre-determined summary of the sites content to appear on a google™ listing. Level 2 SEO will also include a report of your website traffic information and the addition of a hit counter so you can easily track the number of people that visit your site.
• Level 3
  Level 3 SEO is for business wanting to use search engines such as google™ to produce serious web traffic and business on their site. This includes the generation of a site map to help the search engine crawler program index the site faster and more efficiently giving it information about each page, addition of links pages with links to high profile sites relevant to your market to help bring up the profile of your site and also helping to organise and implement back-links (two way links with other sites). Jonmsm enterprises ltd will also produce a researched report of what further actions can be made in your market place to promote your website for more traffic.

Pricing
Jonmsm enterprises ltd reserves the right to change the prices of products and services without prior notice. Pricing of all quotes and contracts will be honoured for the life span on the contact. Monthly or Yearly maintenance contracts with jonmsm enterprises ltd will be subject to pricing updates at the end of the contract term where applicable. All quotes are valid for 28 days from issue and all pricing will be honoured for the valid life of the quote. Yearly maintenance contracts will be automatically renewed at the end of the yearly term unless the customer states otherwise or a pricing change has occurred during the contract term. Where pricing changes have occurring during the contract term, customers will be notified of the cost change at the beginning of the new term of the contract.

Cancellation of Contracts and Refunds
Customer reserve the right to cancel any contracts with jonmsm enterprises ltd at any point, however no refunds can be issued for completed work that has had customer sign off or billed maintenance for time passed before cancellation. A cancellation fee of £50 will be applicable for any contract ended early, unless the remaining value of the contract is less than £50, whereby the remaining value of the contract only will be applicable, for example, if a yearly contract at £25 per month is terminated in month 11, the cancellation fee applicable will be just the remaining £25 not the full £50. All cancellations must be made in writing to jonmsm enterprises ltd before the date of billing. Any cancellation request made after the billing date will be charged for the remainder of that month. Refunds will only be issued on yearly contracts paid in full for the time remain
